Use the command menu when you know what you want to do but do not want to navigate to it by hand.

How to

  1. Open the command menu

Press Command+K on Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows. You can also press / when you are not typing in a field.

  2. Search by the action

Type the action or place you need, such as “new document,” “new chat,” or the name of a folder.

  3. Choose a result with the keyboard

Use the arrow keys to select a result, then press Enter to open it.

Search for the verb. Try “new document” or “open folder” before you search for a menu name.
