Leave or delete a workspace
Leave a workspace you no longer need, or permanently delete one only when you own the decision.
Use Danger Zone for irreversible workspace actions. Leave when you no longer need access. Delete only when the workspace owner has confirmed the work and members are ready for it to be removed.
How to
Open Danger Zone
Open Settings, then choose Danger Zone.
Choose leave or delete
Choose Leave when you only need to remove your own access. Choose Delete only when you are authorized to remove the workspace.
Confirm the action carefully
Read the confirmation details, complete the required confirmation, and tell affected people before you finish a destructive action.
Leave and delete are different actions
Leaving removes only your access. Deleting removes the workspace itself and cannot be undone. If the work still has an active purpose, do not delete the workspace to clean up a project.
Deletion cannot be undone. Do not use workspace deletion to clean up a project. Archive or move the work instead when the workspace still has an active purpose.
