Set up one active project, save useful references, and invite the people who need it.

Start with work already in motion. Add the brief, a few useful references, and the people responsible for the next decision.

How to

  1. Create an active project folder

Create a folder for the campaign, client, series, or initiative you are working on now.

Use a name your team already uses. Keep the structure shallow while the project is new.

  2. Add the working set

Add the brief, a working document, and the files or links that explain the work. Give each item a clear name before you share it.

  3. Save a useful reference

Create a swipe file for strong examples you want to reuse. Add one line that explains why the reference is worth keeping.

  4. Invite the decision-makers

Invite the people who will write, review, or approve the work. They can comment in context when the project is ready.

Start small. One folder, one brief, and a few useful references are enough for the first project.
